Common Name: Silverbeet Rainbow Chard
Latin Name: Beta cicla
Description: High yield variety with vibrant, multi-coloured stems that makes it a feature in the garden. Makes an excellent cut-and-come-again vegetable. Annual. Height 40cm.
Harvesting: Harvest outer leaves at any size by breaking off at base. Store in fridge.
Best Results: Grow in full to part sun in rich, well drained soil. Keep well watered and liquid fertilise fortnightly. Suitable for pots.
Uses: Steam lightly as vegetable or use in classic Greek dishes.
Companion: Plant with onions and kohlrabi
