4 tomatoes, sliced 2 cucumbers, sliced 1 red or white onion, sliced 1/2 cup white vinegar 1 tbs fresh basil, chopped Combine the tomatoes, cucumbers and onion in a serving bowl. Combine the white vinegar and basil. Pour over the vegetables. Cover and refrigerate for several hours before serving.
