Description: Upright leaves forming a tall, loose head. Perfect for continuous harvest. Excellent flavour. Annual. Height 20cm.
Harvesting: Harvest outer leaves continually to encourage new leaves to grow or cut whole head at once.
Best Results: Grow in full to part sun in rich, well drained soil. Keep well watered and liquid fertilise fortnightly. Grow in shade in hot climates.
Uses: Use in salads and sandwiches. Favourite for Caesar Salad.
Companion: Plant with beans, beetroot, chervil, carrots, marjoram, onions, peas, strawberries and Zinnia.
