Common Name: Lettuce Oakleaf
Description: Loose ruffled leaves with sweet flavour. Perfect for continuous harvest. Resists heat and bolting. Annual. Height 20cm.
Harvesting: Harvest outer leaves continually to encourage new leaves to grow.
Best Results: Keep well watered and liquid fertilise fortnightly. Grow in shade in hot climates or in full sun in cooler months or if given lots of water. Needs rich, well drained soil or premium potting mix.
Uses: Use mature or baby leaves in salads and sandwiches.
Companion: Plant with beans, beetroot, chervil, carrots, marjoram, onions, peas, strawberries and Zinnia.
