Description: Glossy green foliage with a deliciously refreshing ginger aroma. Invasive habit makes it best grown in large tubs. Perennial. 40cm.
Harvesting: Harvest at any time and use fresh or try freezing in ice blocks to add to summer drinks.
Best Results: If rust appears or plant looks lanky, cut down very hard and cover with compost. Throw leaves in bin.
Uses: Use leaves as a garnish or to flavour desserts and drinks.
Companion: Fresh or dried mint will deter ants from the pantry and repel clothes moth.
