Latin Name: Mentha x piperata citrata
Description: Flavoursome mint with light green leaves and lilac flower whorls in summer. Delicious lemon smell. Perennial. Height 30cm.
Harvesting: Harvest leaves regularly as required.
Best Results: Grow in full sun or part shade. Best grown in pots in premium potting mix as mint can be invasive. Cut mints back hard twice a year to encourage new growth. Keep soil moist.
Uses: Use fresh in teas, vinegar, salads and cocktails. Dried in pot-pourri.
Companion: Plant in pots near brassicas to repel cabbage moth.
