Description: Attractive plant with daisy flowers which are source of safe, organic insecticide. Thrives in all types of soils and conditions. Perennial. Height 60cm.
Harvesting: Harvest mature flowers in summer & dry in sun.
Best Results: Mature plants can be divided in early spring. Grow in full sun or part shade in rich, well drained soil. Suitable for pots.
Uses: Steep dry flowers overnight in pure alcohol or water. Dilute. Use immediately as insecticide as loses its effectiveness if stored.
Companion: Leaves have no insecticidal properties in garden as pyrethrin is only found in flowers.
