Description: Delicious mild flavoured chard with deep green leaves and short tender stems. This variety resists bolting to seed. Annual. 40cm.
Harvesting: Start harvesting young outer leaves when 20cm long. By harvesting the outer leaves, the plant will continue to produce more leaves for many more months.
Best Results: Apply lots of organic matter and liquid feed the plant every fortnight.
Uses: Add young leaves to salads and stir-fries and use older leaves as you would English spinach.
Companion: Combine in a salad with olive oil, bacon, pine nuts and other salad greens.
