1.5kg green king prawns
1/3 cup oil
1 1/2 tbs honey
1 1/2 tbs chilli sauce
1 tbs lemon juice
4 shallots, chopped
2 tbs parsley, chopped
1/4 tsp five spice powder
Soak the skewers in a tray of water whilst preparing the ingredients.
Shell and devein prawns leaving tails attached. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl. Mix prawns through and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Thread prawns onto skewers and barbecue quickly until cooked and tender. Brush with remaining marinade whilst cooking.
Serves 6.
